Panels make electricity from daylight, not heat. They work on slate, clay and natural stone roofs all year round.
On some Bath roofs we use in roof panels that sit flush with the tiles. They look neat and suit period buildings well. On others a standard rail system is the better choice.
East and west roofs work too. What matters is a careful survey and an honest design.

Do you cover Bath?

Will I need planning permission for solar in Bath?

Can solar go on a Bath stone or listed property?

Do solar panels work through a Somerset winter?

Can I add a battery later?
Yes, provided the system is designed with that in mind from the start. Many customers fit solar first and add storage once they can see their real usage pattern.
How long do panels last and what upkeep is there?
Modern panels are expected to keep producing for 25 to 40 years or more. Upkeep is minimal, mostly occasional inspection and performance monitoring.
Who deals with the grid paperwork?
We do. We handle the application to the local network operator for you, so you do not need to chase it.
