Not Just Renewable Energy. A Different Relationship With It.

Most people spend their entire lives buying energy from systems they do not own, at prices they cannot control.

Most of us never stop to question that.

At JellyWatt Renewables, we do.

Because we believe something remarkable has happened over the last twenty years.

For the first time in modern history, ordinary homeowners have the ability to produce, store and manage a significant proportion of their own energy.

Not through sacrifice. Not through compromise. Not by disconnecting from society.

But through better technology and better design.

That idea sits at the heart of everything we do.

How JellyWatt Started

Built From Curiosity. Shaped By Experience.

JellyWatt did not begin with a carefully planned route into renewable energy. It began with curiosity. A fascination with technology, an interest in environmental science and a desire to understand how complex systems work.

After years inside the renewable energy industry, our founder began to notice a recurring problem.

Homeowners were often being sold products without enough consideration for the bigger picture. The conversation focused on batteries, panels and heat pumps rather than comfort, resilience, independence and long-term performance.

JellyWatt was created to approach things differently.

As a company focused on helping people build more resilient, more independent and more future-ready homes.

Why JellyWatt?

Because renewable energy doesn't have to be dull

The energy industry has spent decades taking itself incredibly seriously. We wanted to make the experience feel more human, approachable and honest. The jellyfish represents the principles behind our work. It is adaptable, efficient and resilient, responding naturally to changing conditions. The same principles apply to modern energy systems.

What We Believe

Technology Should Serve People

  • We don't believe anyone should install solar panels because they're fashionable.

  • We don't believe everyone needs a battery.

  • We don't believe every home should have a heat pump.

Technology is only valuable when it solves a genuine problem. Every recommendation we make starts with a simple question: What are you actually trying to achieve? Lower bills?More comfort?Energy security?Reduced reliance on oil?Future-proofing? Environmental impact?Greater resilience?

Once we understand that, the technology becomes much easier to choose.

Our Approach

We Don’t Sell Products. We Design Systems.

Your heating, electricity use, solar generation, battery storage, vehicle charging and energy tariff all influence one another. We consider the whole property from the beginning.

Heating Changes Demand

The way your home is heated directly affects how much electricity it uses and when that demand occurs.

Vehicles Change Usage Patterns

An electric vehicle can significantly change when your household needs energy and how much power it draws.

Batteries Change How Solar Is Used

Battery storage determines how much solar electricity can be saved, shifted and used later in the day.

Tariffs Influence Performance

Your energy tariff affects when it makes sense to generate, store, buy or use electricity.

Built Properly. Not Quickly.

There are easier ways to install renewable energy systems. There are quicker ways. There are cheaper ways. There are certainly more profitable ways.

But those approaches often create problems further down the line. At JellyWatt, we try to think beyond installation day.

How will this system perform in ten years? Can it be expanded? Will replacement parts still be available? Will it integrate with future technologies? Will the customer still be happy with this decision twenty years from now?

Those questions influence every recommendation we make.

Honest Advice Is part of the job.

One of the strangest things about modern sales is that many people expect to be pressured. We've become accustomed to sales processes designed to push us towards a particular outcome. We don't think that's how significant decisions about your home should work.

Sometimes the best advice we can give is:

  • Not yet

  • Not this technology

  • There may be a better way

We would rather lose a project than recommend something we don't believe is right. That isn't always the fastest route to growth. But it is the route that allows us to sleep at night.

Energy Independence For Every Home.

For us, renewable energy has never been solely about saving money. Financial returns matter. But they aren't the whole story.

The deeper opportunity is independence. Producing more of what you use. Reducing exposure to uncertainty. Increasing resilience. Creating options. Owning more of the systems that support your life.

For some homeowners, that means a solar array. For others, a battery. For others, a heat pump. For some, a carefully planned combination of technologies implemented over many years.

There is no universal solution. Only the solution that makes sense for your property.

Honest Guidance

We'll recommend what we genuinely believe is right for your property. Even if that isn't the most profitable option for us.

Looking Forward

Helping Homes Prepare For What Comes Next

The next decade will transform how homes use energy. Properties will increasingly generate electricity. Store electricity. Heat with electricity. Travel using electricity. Optimise consumption automatically.

The relationship between people and energy is changing. Our role is to help homeowners navigate that transition with confidence. One sensible decision at a time.
