Air Conditioning Installers in Taunton
Efficient heating, cooling, humidity control and air filtration from one intelligent system, installed across Taunton by our team in Frome. We design every installation around your property, your rooms and how you use them.
One System. Total Comfort. All Year Round.
Air conditioning has changed. Modern systems can heat, cool, dehumidify and filter the air, giving you control over the comfort of single rooms or your whole property. That could be a Victorian terrace near the town centre that traps summer heat, a garden office in Trull or a busy workplace off the high street. Wherever you are in Taunton, we design a system that fits naturally into the space.
Efficient Heating And Cooling
Enjoy precise temperature control without relying on inefficient portable heaters or fans.
Better Sleep In Summer
Keep bedrooms cool on warm Somerset nights without excessive noise or disruptive airflow.
Less Humidity. Cleaner Air.
Reduce condensation, stuffiness and excess moisture while filtering circulating indoor air.
Designed To Work With Solar
Use more of your own solar generation when daytime cooling demand is at its highest.
More Than
Many people still think of air conditioning as something you use for a few weeks each summer. Today's systems are highly efficient air to air heat pumps. They keep Taunton homes and businesses comfortable all year round, from July heatwaves to cold, damp winter mornings.
- Cool When Rooms Overheat
Maintain a comfortable temperature in bedrooms, lofts, conservatories and south facing spaces.
- Heat Efficiently In Winter
Use the same system to provide targeted heating without relying on traditional electric heaters.
- Control Humidity
Remove excess moisture from the air and help reduce condensation and uncomfortable stuffiness.
- Filter Indoor Air
Circulate and filter the air to create a fresher, more comfortable indoor environment.
- Designed Around Taunton's Buildings
From older terraces near the centre to new estate homes at Comeytrowe, Priorswood and Monkton Heathfield, we choose discreet positions for outdoor units and keep pipework neat. If your home is listed or in a conservation area, we tell you at survey stage if any consent is needed.
Every Room. Every Season. Every Kind Of Space.
Bedrooms
Create cooler, quieter sleeping conditions during hot summer evenings.
Whole-Home Heating
Use one outdoor system to provide efficient heating across multiple rooms.
Home Offices
Maintain a comfortable working environment regardless of the weather outside.

Cooling Demand Often Rises When
Solar Production Does
One of the most overlooked advantages of modern air conditioning is how naturally it can work alongside solar panels.
On bright summer days, solar generation increases at the same time as cooling demand. This means more of the electricity used by your air conditioning system can come directly from your own roof. Combined with battery storage, smart tariffs and intelligent controls, this can create an exceptionally efficient home energy system. Because JellyWatt designs solar, battery storage, EV charging and heat pump solutions, we consider how your air conditioning fits into the wider property rather than treating it as an isolated appliance. For Taunton homeowners, pairing air conditioning with solar is one of the best ways to keep running costs down. We'll advise on the right setup for your roof and property.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is air conditioning expensive to run?
Modern inverter-driven systems are highly efficient and can cost considerably less to run than traditional direct electric heaters.
Can air conditioning heat my home during winter?
Most modern indoor units operate very quietly and are suitable for bedrooms, home offices and living spaces.
How noisy are modern systems?
Many single-room residential installations can be completed within one day. Larger systems may require additional time.
How long does installation take?
Yes. Solar panels and air conditioning work particularly well together because cooling demand often increases when solar generation is highest.
Can solar panels power air conditioning?
A properly sized and positioned system provides controlled, gentle airflow rather than an uncomfortable draught.
Will the room feel draughty?
Periodic servicing helps maintain efficiency, reliability and indoor air quality.
Does air conditioning require maintenance?
Yes. A multi-split system can connect several indoor units to a single outdoor unit.
Can one outdoor unit serve several rooms?
Many modern systems include smart controls and app-based temperature management.
Can I control the system from my phone?
With appropriate installation and maintenance, a quality system can provide reliable service for well over a decade.
How long does an air conditioning system last?
With appropriate installation and maintenance, a quality system can provide reliable service for well over a decade.

We needed our existing array of solar panels removed and reinstalled during a roof tile replacement. They were efficient, came when they said they would come, and were very efficient.
Toby C.
The installation crew was prompt, respectful, and clearly knew what they were doing. They kept the worksite clean and walked me through every step. Now that the system is up and running, I’m completely self-sufficient — and it feels amazing!

Thanks to JellyWatt Renewables for the installation on our double garage last October. It was a quick and easy process and we're delighted with what we've generated over the winter. Now the brighter weather is here, things are looking even better.

We have just had our EV charger put in by JellyWatt Renewables and not only did they up it up efficiently, Linden made sure to add our phones to link the device. It is working perfectly and only using solar or the cheapest electricity rate. They made sure to fit it carefully to a difficult uneven wall too! Thank you so much - I highly recommend them!

Excellent service and really smooth installation and nothing was too much trouble. We have had the system in a year now and everything is working as it should be. Highly recommended.

Supply and fit of a replacement inverter. Rob the engineer was super efficient and knowledgeable. Excellent Fox ESS app provides helpful data that we never previously had.

Exceptional service from JellyWatt. From initial discussion with Linden on needs and wants through installation and commissioning (Tom). While not everything went as smoothly as we all would have liked (breaking of some of the trays both on delivery and installation), these were redelivered and installed without fuss. All in all, an exceptional service, installation and now enjoying the solar energy.

Very luckily for me, I found Linden at JellyWatt renewables who was just so incredibly helpful. … Tom was amazing … he listened, helped us set up the app to make it do what we needed it to. He was incredibly thorough and didn’t leave until he was confident that I fully understood what he had done. I can heartily recommend JellyWatt Renewables.

We thoroughly recommend Jellywatt renewables for all your solar needs. … On the day the team arrived, and worked very hard, very polite and courteous and left the place nice and tidy. … We had 15 panels ,a battery and a car charger. It is reassuring to know that we finally have control over our energy costs … Just go for it if you can afford it.

The work was carried out very professionally and with minimum disruption. Both Linden and Tom were good to have around the house, and we were able to raise with them any concerns, which were addressed and solved. … Every kWh is less on our bill! … Absolutely delighted...well worth investing the capital.
